| Since it was established in 1980 as the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental, the Delta Dental Foundation has provided grants totaling more than $9.5 million to organizations that provide dental care for the under-served, to programs that promote the importance of good oral health, and to educational institutions to enhance dental education and research. Our valuable relationships with the dental profession, as well as other groups focused on oral health issues, continue to help the Delta Dental Foundation make a difference in the tri-state region. |

Delta Dental Foundation Seminars
When the Delta Dental Foundation
began in 1980, one of its first activities was to sponsor continuing education seminars for dentists. These seminars,
co-sponsored with The University of Michigan School
of Dentistry’s Office of Continuing Education,
have evolved into annual continuing educational programs
designed specifically for dentists, some of which are
also open to dental office staff.
